*** Arts in the Park - June 29 & 30 ***

Join us for the 28th annual Arts in the Park on the waterfront in Belfast

featuring over 120 Maine artists! Rain or shine! Saturday & Sunday, 10am - 4pm!

This is one of the most respected arts and fine crafts festivals in midcoast Maine. The variety of art offerings are outstanding, along with live music, and the smells of local eats all adding to the creative atmosphere. The venue is undeniably beautiful, in a large open park on the ocean’s edge, with a harborwalk, sailboats nearby and a summer breeze to enjoy. The Gazebo at Steamboat Landing hosts live music throughout the weekend.

This event is brought to you by Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce and the Belfast Parks & Recreation Department.

Many thanks to our returning Platinum Event Sponsors KSW Federal Credit Union and RE/MAX Jaret & Cohn Real Estate. Thanks to our Special Event Sponsor Camden National Bank.

SCORE Maine 'Successful Women Owned Business Award' Presented to Trove's Laura Brown

Laura Brown, owner of Trove in downtown Searsport, has been selected as the 2024 winner of the SCORE Maine “Successful Women Owned Business Award”.

SCORE is a national organization that offers expert and confidential business advice and continued mentoring to small businesses and entrepreneurs. Laura teamed up with Waldo County based Score mentor Jayne Giles in 2020 who provided countless hours mentoring and developing plans as Trove was getting off the ground, opening its doors in June 2021. As a growing Searsport based business, Trove has brought new focus to downtown Searsport and to Maine artisans.

Trove’s mission is to elevate the perception of handmade goods in the retail marketplace by showcasing the best work of artists and designers who create with the highest standards of quality. Since opening its doors, Trove has grown to represent over 65 Maine artisans and artists, the majority of which are women- and family-owned businesses. Certified as a Made in Maine business, Trove has established itself as one of the first new businesses in historic downtown Searsport’s renaissance. In 2023, Trove was recognized as a top five retail gift shop destination in the state of Maine by Maine Decor Magazine and received high praise from Downeast Magazine in 2022.
