Belfast Rotary Club Names Sheriff Jason Trundy New President, Dorothy Havey & David McCurdy Rotarians of the Year


Waldo County High Sheriff Jason Trundy has been elected president of the Belfast Rotary Club. Inducted at the club’s June 26 annual meeting, Sheriff Trundy takes the reins of the 70-member club during its 100th year of providing service to the Belfast community.


Also honored at the annual dinner were Dorothy Havey, executive director of the Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce, and her husband David McCurdy. The two club members were named “Rotarians of the Year” in recognition of their continuing service to the Club and the community.
