Presidents' Day - No School

In honor of Presidents' Day there will be no school on Monday, February 19. Enjoy the long weekend and we will see you back on Tuesday!

Re-Enrollment is Open

Re-enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year opened Friday, February 1. Returning NCA families will be able to register through FACTS. An email regarding re-enrollment from Mrs. Adams was sent out last Friday. You can find the re-enrollment instructions here and schedule here.

Lion Round Up Open House & Open Enrollment

Our Lion Round Up Open House will be Tuesday, February 20! Be sure to share with others why you love NCA and invite them to check out our school. Open enrollment begins February 15. More info can be found here.

Give Back Night at McAlister's

Join us for dinner at McAlister's on Monday, February 19 from 5-10pm. A portion of the the night's proceeds will be donated back to NCA. Make plans to join us!

Getting Ahead of the Curve

Current 5th Grade Parents - Middle School Informational Session will be held on Tuesday, February 27 at 6:30pm in room 115.

Current 8th Grade Parents - Graduation Planning Informational Session will be Tuesday, February 27 at 6:30pm in the sanctuary.

Current 10-11th Grade Parents - A Dual Enrollment Informational Session will be Tuesday, February 27 at 6:30pm in room 112.

The doors on the west wing of the main building will be unlocked. Contact Mrs. Zeiller if you have any questions.

Missions at NCA

February is our Mission Month and all month-long classes will be serving out in our community. Mission Week is February 26 - March 1! We will be hosting some FUNdraisers that will go towards our annual Missions Week fundraiser. All funds will go towards building houses in Costa Rica.

Donuts will be for sale every Thursday morning near the security desk (front entrance) and near the trophy case (TMC entrance).

The Junior and Senior boys will compete in a volleyball game (Volleybrawl) on Tuesday February 27 at 9am. The Junior and Senior girls will compete in a powderpuff football game on Wednesday, February 28 at 2pm. Middle School and High School students can pay $3 to watch each game or pay $5 to watch both! 

Cheer Team News

NCA Cheer has some exciting news to share with you! We are happy to share that next year we will be taking our team to various competitions throughout the year! We will still continue to support our other athletic teams and get chances to showcase our performances at pep rallies, halftime shows, and on the sidelines. 

If you want to be a part of this great experience, then see the flyer attached and use this sign up link to sign up for tryouts! The cheer coaches will be hosting a clinic to teach the try out routine and cheers and help work on technique with all athletes. Tryouts are open to our current 5th-11th graders, and we want to encourage dual-sport athletes to participate.  

We can't wait to see all of you bring your A-game and show the school and community what our team is made of. Get ready for an incredible journey filled with hard work, growth, and unforgettable experiences. Let's make this the best cheer season yet!

Drumline Auditions

If your high school or incoming high school student is interested in auditioning for Drumline, here is the audition packet. Auditions will be held with Mr. Adams and Miss Saldaña in April. More info coming soon. If you have questions, contact Miss Saldaña.

If your student is signed up for either our 3D Painting Club or Cheer Club, please save the dates below so they don't miss out! We have 2 spots available for cheer club and 1 spot for paint club available.

Absentee Alert

If your student will be absent, be sure to let us know! You can report your daily absences (sickness, appointment, etc.) and upcoming absences (family visits, college visits, vacations, etc) on our website. Once upcoming absences are submitted, they will be sent to Administration for approval. Parents and teachers will be notified of approval via email. Please give as much advanced notice as possible. Report both daily and upcoming absences here.

Food 4 Life is our new Lunch Catering Program! You can find instructions for setting up your new account here. Lunch prices can be found here. This month's lunch menus can be found here.

PLEASE NOTE - Food delivery from food delivery services (Grubhub, Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc.) is prohibited. Parents are welcome to bring their student lunch.

Helpful Hint for accessing your lunch account - When Food4Life emails their monthly menu, you can click on it and it should take you to your account balance.
