🤱 MATERNAL HEALTH EDUCATION 🤱

Healthcare Network, in collaboration with the Collier Community Foundation, created a series of educational videos to help vulnerable maternal patients and their children. Often these patients suffer from a lack of accessible, affordable health services which in turn negatively affects the outcome of a child's growth and development.

To address this pressing issue, the videos have been translated into English, Spanish and Haitian Creole and are aimed at educating mothers about important health issues affecting them and their babies.

How will these videos be used?

These videos will be shown to low-income populations such as farmworkers and other vulnerable communities. The videos will serve as a supplement to interventions of Healthcare Network's obstetrician and pediatric clinical teams as well as provide essential education through trusted individuals such as the organization's Community Outreach Team.
