Ignoring the Roaring Lion |
 It is had to believe that summer is coming to a close. With the change of seasons comes the beginning of school and college to many. This is an exciting time but brings anxiety and fear to many. It reminds me of going to a new school as a child and the fear I remember before that first day. In our Daily Devotional we have been walking through the book of Psalms and we see David facing his fears as Saul is perusing him. Penning the Psalms and seeking the Lord, David gives us the key to tackling our fears - Trusting in the Lord. FEAR has been defined as False - Evidence - Appearing - Real and the enemy uses partial truths with his lies with the goal of filling our hearts with fear. Once our hearts are full of fear we tend to stop doing what the Lord would have us to do. Just like a lion in the Jungle Roars to invoke fear in his prey, so they will stop running - so he can pounce - satan does the same in getting us to focus on the partial truths so we will stop following the Lord. Satan's goal is to paralyze us with fear. David reminds us to keep going, keep trusting, as the Lord is our protection and provision. In making application we see need to keep trusting and serving Him. Keep your faith, follow the Holy Spirit through His Word, and He will lead us through this life. Remember the Psalms and David facing his fears to remember that God is control, we are in His Hand, He is guiding us, and we have His Word in us, so we can walk confidently in Victory - Free from Worry or Fear. |

To Everyone's Efforts as Your Labor is not in Vain: |
 "Thank You," for the total team effort that produced another good volume month. We have surpassed the 7 million web hit mark since we started this Ministry. Praise the LORD!!! A good report of Souls Saved, Bibles Distributed, Devotions Emailed, Web Hits, Bibles Downloaded, Audio Bibles Accessed, and Online Bible Accessed. Thanks again, for everyone who Prayed, Supplied Funds, Made Visits, Answered Emails, Placed Phone Calls, Provided Bibles, Delivered Bibles, and Shared the Gospel. Your labor is not in vain as I receive mail every day of souls being saved and lives being changed. Let us be encouraged to press to the mark of continuing in the Lord, to do His Will, and His Work in these last days. |
In August we continued with the automation of our Bible Requests. This month we reevaluated the automated process counting the cost and time to complete this task. It seems like every task comes down to to obstacles - Time and Money. Facing Time: we have been able to complete the Bible Requests by Hand and we are getting more proficient at completing this task with our Church partners who are delivering Bibles daily. This allows us to complete the task faster without doing as much searching for good Churches. As long as we can keep up the pace I feel at peace with continuing in our current procedure. Facing Money: It will take funding to complete this task of complete automation as we need to hire others to build this software and integrate it with our site. I can build it myself but then don't have the time to complete the requests and Minister. I own a business also and think I can make more money than I can raise in this economy. I plan to increase my business www.christianinc.org and spend any extra time I have to increase sales in my business to fund this Ministry. Please pray that I would be able to make the contacts and sell the Jobs to fund this work. In raising money we cannot loose focus that our first priority is the "Bible Requester" making sure he/she receives the Bible and the Gospel. With our system everyone who contacts us and requests the Bible will get an "Electronic Form" of the Bible and the opportunity to view the Gospel Video on how they can be saved. Every Requester also gets a chance to order our Free Daily Devotional email, Free Online Church Service, and we follow up with the requester at 30 days to see if they received what they request. I have made a goal to process every request 1st. raise money 2nd. and with any extra time or resources will be devoted to our automation project. I am not discouraged when things don't go on "my time table" but have come to realize that God is in control and we are on HIS timetable. |

 Working through automating our Bible Request Search and Placement. Raising funds to accomplish this task. I
will be seeking volunteers to help with the workload and answer the emails we have. With a little more funding we can hire someone in data processing that can do the tasks even faster. I will need help with the glitches in programing so please pray for us. The enemy seems to attack when we attempt to make improvements. This process will take prayer, funding, and patience. |

Words cannot express our appreciation for all who give to the United States Bible Society. Funds given are only a small portion that is invested as thousand of Church Partners provide Bibles daily at their cost. As with any Ministry we have costs to provide our services. I too contribute to this Ministry and receive no personal support for our work. We have grown to the point where we need the Lord to Burden Churches and others to give to meet our financial needs. Thank you for your gifts. |
