Round Rock pools now open for summer |
Swimsuit? Check. Sunscreen? Check. Some of the best pools around? Double check! City of Round Rock’s Rock’N River Water Park and Micki Krebsbach Pool are now open for the summer. Lake Creek Pool will open starting June 7.

Gattis School Road improvements planned |
Round Rock City Council approved a contract to reconstruct Gattis School Road from Via Sonoma Trail to Red Bud Lane. Construction on the $17.4 million project will start in late 2022 and include expanding the existing four-lane roadway to a six-lane divided arterial.

New project to strengthen City's water supply |
Round Rock City Council recently approved construction of a massive infrastructure project over 15 years in the making. The regional project will build deeper intakes in Lake Travis to provide extra water security during droughts and have the ability to supply an additional 40.8 million gallons of water per day to Round Rock once completed.

RRFD distributing fans to residents in need |
The Round Rock Fire Department’s Community Risk Reduction program is accepting donated fans through Aug. 31. Donations will help provide heat relief to seniors, adults with disabilities and families in need. New boxed fans can be dropped off at your nearest fire station.

New Kinningham House now accepting rentals |
The City of Round Rock has officially opened the new Kinningham House, with the first rental date available on Sept. 10. The 6,700-square-foot facility will host several Parks and Recreation youth programs starting this summer.

Bring the entire family and enjoy free, themed activities on select Friday nights at Yonders Point, located just southwest of the baseball fields in Old Settlers Park. This Friday's theme is "Country Hoedown" and features a mechanical bull, refreshments and a live country performance.

There are over 20 miles of hike and bike trails currently in Round Rock, expanding to over 26 miles in the next several years. Come celebrate National Trails Day at the trail system near Rabb House, where the City will be distributing t-shirts and light refreshments.

Spring Clean-Up takes place on Saturdays in June — your assigned date is based on your normal trash pickup day. Check out the link below to find out which day you can place your bulk items out at the curb for free pickup, as well as a list of items that will be accepted.

The City's free Music on Main series is just heating up! Bring a lawn chair, blanket and the family to Prete Plaza in Downtown Round Rock from 7-9 p.m. every Wednesday during the month of June. There will be face painting, balloon artists and more!
