Early voting underway for May 6 election
City of Round Rock residents will have three City Council positions and two bond propositions on the May 6 ballot. Early voting is underway through May 2.

City seeks feedback on proposed Downtown park
The City of Round Rock is seeking feedback through an online survey about the design of a park that is proposed to be built along Brushy Creek in Downtown Round Rock.

Council passes drought ordinance changes
On Thursday, April 27, Round Rock City Council passed amendments to the City’s drought restriction ordinance to further encourage water conservation, even when drought restrictions are not in place.

Round Rock approves more street maintenance
Round Rock City Council recently approved a $6.5 million street maintenance contract that will improve the state of several arterial roads throughout the City, including Sam Bass Road, McNeil Road, Greenlawn Boulevard and more.

Round Rock listed among best cities to start a family
Family is everything here in Round Rock, so comes as no surprise that Round Rock was ranked as the No. 3 best city in America to start a family in a recent LendEDU analysis.

University Blvd. project reaches completion
The $18 million University Boulevard project, which widened the road between I-35 and Sunrise Road to six lanes, was part of the City’s long-range Transportation Master Plan.

Dip candles, churn butter, make corn husk dolls and rag balls and enjoy live music and pioneer games. This is one of the first events of Round Rock's historic preservation month.

Music on Main

Prete Plaza, 221 E. Main

Round Rock's popular Music on Main concert series features free live music! Bring a lawn chair or blanket and the entire family. There will be face painting, balloon artists and more!

Muddy Miler
Saturday, May 6
8-10 a.m.
Old Settlers Park, 3300 Palm Valley Blvd.

The Muddy Miler is a themed adventure run for the family featuring obstacles and mud. The event is free for the entire family, but each participant must pre-register.

Wednesday, May 10
11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Round Rock Public Library, 200 E. Liberty Ave.

Support the Round Rock Public Library‘s Seed Library by helping clean, sort and husk donated seeds — and meet your fellow gardeners, too!
