Thank you to the Township of Lake of Bays candidates and many residents who participated in our two Candidates' meetings on August 25 and 30. You can watch videos of the August 25 meeting - click here .

The Lake of Bays Association sent questionnaires to all Township of Lake of Bays candidates and a selection of Town of Huntsville candidates. Read their responses here.

Not sure you are on the voters' list? Go to the Township of Lake of Bays Voter Registration Portal or contact the Clerk's Department at 705-635-2272 or vote@lakeofbays.on.ca . Election assistance will be available during the October 12 to 22 election period. Click here for details.

L OBA's Propane Program is Expanding

LOBA’s Propane program is now entering it’s 3 rd year and has been very successful. Our first supplier Grant Propane has been competitive and served our members very well. The program has benefited our members by saving money on their propane costs, in a transparent and consistent manner. We have negotiated a new rate for the period ending August 31, 2019.

Other suppliers have expressed keen interest in working with us. Superior Propane is offering to supply our members with propane at a competitive group rate.

It's time to go through all your Lake of Bays photos from the past year and select the best ones for the Lake of Bays Association photo contest.




Open to all Lake of Bays Association members and families for submission in the categories below. Photos must be previously unpublished and submitted - one per individual, per category - in high-definition, digital format to Aben Graphics; info@abengraphics.com before December 30, 2018. Subject line of the email, Lake of Bays 2018 Photo Contest . Contestants agree to the use of their photos for the Lake of Bays Association yearbook, newsletter, website and social media sites.

LIFE at the LAKE:  people, pets and dwellings
NATURE:  wild plants and animals
LANDSCAPE:  land, water and sky
