Presented by MultiCare Capital Medical Center and Providence Swedish, LoveOly SummerFest is a FREE, three-day street festival running June 21-23 in Downtown Olympia. Enjoy live music from acts like Olsen Bros, Ethan Tucker, and Oblé Reed, plus family-friendly activities, the ever-popular Pet Parade powered by the Hands On Children's Museum, delicious food trucks, the Biergarten, and independent vendors.


The fun kicks off Friday with afternoon activities including face painting, caricature artists, and a Makers Market. Saturday's full day of entertainment begins with the Pet Parade at 10:30 am along Capitol Way, followed by The Zaniac on the main stage! Don't miss the Super Smash Bros. competition, more face painting, the Makers Market, caricature artists, and buskers throughout the day.


Sunday wraps up with the ultimate brunch vibes! Enjoy tasty bites from Chicory, Dos Hermanos Mexican Kitchen, and The Oyster Boys, along with our specialty beverages and the Queens of Diva Drag Brunch, sure to deliver an incredible performance.

Calling All Volunteers!

LoveOly SummerFest 2024 is just around the corner, and we need YOUR help to make it amazing! Volunteer shifts are 3 hours long, and you can sign up for as many as you like.


LoveOly SummerFest Dates & Hours:

  • June 21: 3-9pm
  • June 22: 11am-9pm
  • June 23: 10am-2pm


Available Volunteer Shifts:

  • Early Morning Crew: Help with festival set-up, vendor load-in, and more.
  • Early Afternoon Crew: Assist with various tasks including booth sitting, information booth, and more.
  • Afternoon Crew: Help with set-up, booth sitting, biergarten, games/children's area, and more.
  • Late Afternoon Crew: Assist with various tasks including booth sitting, information booth, and more.
  • Closing Crew: Assist in closing the festival for the night.
  • Breakdown Crew: Help vendors load out and break down the festival.

Drag Benefit Show for the Puget Sound Estuarium

Join hosts the Burley Barnacles Drag Crew as they invade Wildman Gastropub (Olympia, WA) on Friday, June 14, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.!


This is a 21+ Drag Benefit Show for the Puget Sound Estuarium.

For Pride 2024, these salty dogs will entertain with an evening of marine-themed drag acts featuring many special guests! Walk the Plank: Drag on the Salish Sea aims to raise funds for the Puget Sound Estuarium's sea centered educational programs.


Come show your support for our local estuary while learning facts about local waterways and the animals that reside in them. You can't miss this evening of food, drink, and merriment in celebration of marine life!

WET Science Center Father's Day Carnival

Come one, come all, to the Father's Day carnival! Try your hand at classic carnival games, create a colorful mask, and make a cute card to celebrate dad or someone special in your life.

Save the Date for Juneteenth

Save the date for Olympia’s Juneteenth Celebration! Shawna Hawk, M.A., founder of The Women of Color in Leadership Movement and director of Media Island International, in partnership with the City of Olympia, invites you to join us for the 2024 Juneteenth Celebration Festival on June 22 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Rebecca Howard Park.


There will be performances, presentations, and The Marketplace featuring a vendor area with Black-owned and operated businesses.
