The MUSEum is the culmination of students' dedication and hard work, a showcase where they will display and discuss their final projects, such as a film, performance, baked good, mural, book, smartphone app, video game, or other creation. Join us for this practical and informative event -  perfect for middle school parents (with children age 11-13), but all are welcome. RSVP here .

Holiday Toy Drive to Benefit Head Start
Help make a child's holiday wish come true by contributing to the annual Head Start Toy Drive! You can select and sign out gift tags in the lobby of the Middle School Building or Mullady Hall. Please remember: limit one gift per child, maximum $15 price per gift. Please wrap each gift and securely attach the original tag; drop off gifts in the aforementioned locations no later than   Wednesday, December 11th. We support over 140 children at two local Head Start preschools. Our middle schoolers visit these children each week during service learning and the toys we donate are emblematic of our partnership with Head Start. Many of these children are from families that are underserved - the children might not otherwise receive any gifts during the holiday season, so that's why we give! We encourage all Pacific Ridge staff, families and students to participate!

Innovation Center and Library
New Library to anchor Innovation Center
What does a 21 st  Century library look like? Ours will include 4,300 square feet of study areas, digital research stations, collaboration spaces, print books and an atrium lounge where students can acquire knowledge and put their learning into practice. With content more accessible to students than in the past, 21 st  Century libraries focus on connecting learners and constructing knowledge. Co-housing our new library with labs and maker spaces will promote interactions - of ideas, disciplines and perspectives. Academic Adventures
Learning Center Helps Students Thrive and Excel
The Pacific Ridge Learning Center supports students’ academic achievement and social and emotional well-being. The Learning Center team, Student Support Specialists Erika Pike and Marcy Ryan, support students who benefit from additional academic resources. The Learning Center's most recent workshop covered motivation and procrastination for upper school students. The idea for a motivation and procrastination workshop came from students who find that they often put off academic tasks that they find stressful or overwhelming. In this workshop, Ms. Ryan and Ms. Pike encouraged students to tap into their intrinsic and external motivation by capitalizing on their situational and personal interests. Students are encouraged to attend the sessions and to submit ideas for future workshops.
