Greetings Ospreys,
We have been celebrating our AHS Class of 2019 in so many ways these past few days because we love them dearly and we are proud of their accomplishments. Knowing they are heading out into the world gives us hope--we can't wait to see how these young adults shape our future. AHS Graduation begins at 4:00 today at the Community Concert Hall. Doors open at 3:15 and there will be general admission seating available. Join us as we send this group of Ospreys off!
Transitional Presentations of Learning begin Tuesday for all 9th through 11th graders. Please remember that TPOLs are individually scheduled. Students must be present at their designated time for presenting and paneling, but are not required to be on campus at other times next week. It is not unusual for students to be asked to redo TPOLs if they are not successful in meeting all expectations the first time. TPOL make ups will take place Thursday and Friday.
Professional dress is required and students will be asked to return at a different time if they do not arrive dressed appropriately. TPOLs are a valuable right of passage that marks the transition from one year to the next and we encourage parents to attend.
Please note we will not be offering catered lunch next week. The Hub Bus will run on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, but not Friday.
The AHS Board of Directors meets Wednesday 5:30-7:30; all are welcome.
Enjoy the weekend and thanks for all you do to help the Ospreys soar!
