The auction committee for GIC mission fundraising met in July. The auction committee is reaching out to local businesses as well as individuals who have shown interest in supporting the auction. The team will be looking for some great opportunities to engage fundraising for mission during the coming months, and if you are interested in donating for the mission fund raising auction this year, please do not hesitate to reach out to David Reese to put you in directly in touch with the team. We’re excited and look forward to the auction launch just ahead of GIC!
There are a couple of ongoing things that we are doing with GIC now, and we need your help. First, the bank jar program is still running strong and bank jars are available to pick up in the church. Second, we need about 25 more volunteers to help support the GIC in 2025.
Your GIC planning team including our chairs for 2025, Cooper and Mary Mac Wilson, who are very excited about building awareness and engagement around mission. If you have any questions about being a volunteer for GIC or know you want to be part of this team, email David and Christen Reese at redflagreese@icloud.com or call (843) 853-0436. Thank you and in case you have any hesitation, know that we need you.
Respectfully,
David and Christen Reese
