Did You Know?

Outdoor Ministry has a table in the Exhibit Area at the Minnesota Conference Annual Meeting

Check out all the information available at the Outdoor Ministry table, which is shared by Faith Formation (it's a 2 for 1 deal!) There will be flyers and information sheets for you to take and share with your congregations, along with Outdoor Ministry hats and tumblers to purchase. See you at Annual Meeting!

The Great Lakes Creation Care Collaborative is meeting in-person August 14-16

The Minnesota Conference is looking for one young adult (age 18-post high school to age 25) to join the Great Lakes Creation Care Collaborative August 14-16 at Tower Hills Camp and Retreat Center in Sawyer Michigan. Food, lodging, and travel are included in this amazing opportunity.

This event is a brainstorming retreat where other Creation Care/Justice advocates from the MN, WI, MI, and Heartland Conferences will talk about the environmental issues and actions needed along the Great Lakes. We hope to create a calendar of shared events, worship liturgies, and actions. This is a chance to help voice your concerns and lead the fight for our Living Earth.

If you know of a young adult, or are a young adult who is interested in more information, please contact Rev. Sheri Nelson at sherin@uccmn.org.

June 5th is United Nations Environment Day

June 8th is World Oceans Day

How will you and your congregation celebrate and advocate for our Living Earth? And maybe even more important, how will you and your congregation be in relationship with the Living Earth?

As co-creators, God has given us the tools to make heaven on earth, if we so choose. The first two tools are the love and trust that has been carefully planted into our beings. With Love we can be in relationship with the living soil, water, air, and all creation. With Trust we can come to the table together, bringing our joys and concerns without judgements. We can grieve, laugh, and ponder together, so that we can act for and with our Living Earth.
