  • While the conference admissions are 100% transferable, the winner may not resell the ticket in whole or in part

Any inquiries should be directed to info@iccie.org.

THANK YOU to the participating conferences, and THANK YOU for purchasing a ticket! The lucky winner could save thousands of dollars on 2024 captive insurance conferences. Don’t miss your chance to win!

ICCIE 20th Anniversary Committee Moving Ahead!

In August of 2024 ICCIE will be celebrating 20 years since its launch, and we are forming a committee to help us plan our efforts for marking this milestone – not just for planning a special celebratory event (unlike any we have had in the past!), but for other activities, also to occur over several months. If you are interested in joining this committee to help us celebrate our 20th Anniversary, please contact the ICCIE office at info@iccie.org. We would love to have you involved!

ICCIE Welcomes New Board Members!

ICCIE welcomed another stellar group of captive industry leaders onto its Board earlier this month. The ICCIE Board is essential to guiding the organization with respect to the direction of our courses, designations and generally ensuring that ICCIE’s educational offerings are serving the needs of the industry. We gratefully welcome onto the ICCIE Board:

Jonathan Habart

Steve Kinion

Lisa Poulin

Al Rhodes

CICA Continues as Lead ICCIE Supporter,

Increases its Financial Commitment

As CICA President Dan Towle announced at its spring conference, CICA and the CICA Board have committed to continue – and increase! – their contribution to $12,500, continuing their position as ICCIE’s biggest individual annual contributor. ICCIE and CICA have had a great partnership for many years, and this continued substantial support is very significant for the industry’s education program. Tremendous thanks to Dan and the whole CICA Board!

Mitch Cantor and the ICCIE Board with CICA’s

support for ICCIE at VCIA in August.

Appreciation for Former Faculty Members -

Joel Chansky and Derick White

Joel Chansky recently retired after being a long-time leader in the captive industry. One significant contribution Joel made was in his role as one of the founding faculty members of ICCIE when it launched in 2004. Joel continued teaching and improving our actuarial course for more than 15 years. As he moves into the next phase of his life we want to acknowledge and thank him for his enormous contributions to ICCIE.

At the same time, long-time industry leader Derick White has also stepped down from teaching ICCIE courses, which he did for more than 10 years. Derick led the efforts to create and maintain our “Regulation of Captives” course, along with the late Jeff Kehler.

The high caliber of the ICCIE faculty is one if our strongest assets. Our deepest gratitude to Joel and Derick for their enormous efforts on behalf of ICCIE!

New ICCIE Fellow Pin

In 2017 ICCIE created a new level of recognition for our industry – the ICCIE Fellow. The ICCIE Fellow designation is reserved for individuals who have attained the highest educational standard offered by ICCIE (the Associate in Captive Insurance – maintained in good standing) and who have also made a major contribution to the industry, which may take several forms.

At this year’s VCIA conference ICCIE unveiled its new ICCIE Fellow pin and presented the pin onstage to five of the eight current ICCIE Fellows.

ICCIE Executive Director Mitch Cantor (far right) presents the new pin to ICCIE Fellows (l-r) Michael Zuckerman, Tina Truax McCuin, Liz Steinman, Kate Boucher, and Renea Louie at this year’s VCIA conference General Session.

Partner Program with Singapore College of Insurance (SCI)

ICCIE is pleased to announce a partnership with the Singapore College of Insurance (SCI), which will be offering ICCIE’s Certificate in Captive Insurance (CCI) to its students. While ICCIE has had students all around the world since its inception, the majority of its students have been based in the Western Hemisphere, and it is excited to make a larger expansion into the Far East.
