DWACC February 2024 Updates
Chamber News & Events
Welcome Ashley Cox and the Brookens Construction Team

Dear Chamber Members & Staff,

Thank you for giving Brookens Construction the opportunity to join the Chamber of Commerce, we are a local roofing company located in Windsor. We strive to always be on the look-out for ways to be active in our community.
We believe in giving back and making a positive impact on people’s lives, both in our own company and in our community. We believe that this Chamber will be a great opportunity for us. It will allow us to not only further our reach, but also give our event committee access to resources. This will give us an opportunity to be involved in local events and be able to connect with more companies and people that have the same values and goals as us. We are very excited to see what we will be able to accomplish together and see the growth this will bring to our community.

We look forward to meeting you all this year at various events and chamber gatherings.

Sincerely,

The Brookens Construction Team

The Wisconsin Technology Council’s 11th annual Wisconsin Tech Summit is Monday, March 18 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. This conference will feature “speed dates” between major firms and emerging companies to explore potential business relationships around technology and innovation needs. The application process is now open for emerging companies to apply with major firms for 15-meeting strategic meetings that will run throughout the one-day conference.

There is no set definition as to what constitutes an emerging company. It can be a startup with a few founders and limited revenue or a small business with several dozen employees and solid revenue. What matters most is whether major firms spot partnership potential when reviewing applications. So, please let anyone know to apply!

The sixteen major firms attending thus far are: CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen), Deloitte, Exact Sciences, Faith Technologies Inc. (FTI), Findorff, Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin, gener8tor, Google, Johnson Controls, J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, OEM Fabricators, Oshkosh Corp., Promega, Rockwell Automation, Schreiber Foods and TitletownTech.

More information on how to apply and register at a discounted rate for the conference, click here.
