Come to our open house to see how a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Certificate Course can help you pursue a fun and flexible career teaching English as a Second Language (ESL). Attend the open house in order to discuss course schedule and curriculum, speak with our TEFL students and ESL teachers, take a tour of our facilities, and have all of your questions answered by ESL professionals.

120-Hour TEFL/TESOL Certification Courses
Enrollment is now open for 120-hour Teaching English as a Foreign Language certificate courses. Classes are limited to 6 students, so register now for Arizona's only 120-hour, in-classroom TEFL/TESOL certification course!
120-Hour Daily Intensive Course: Begins Monday, January 23, 2012. Meets Monday - Thursday, from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. 120-Hour Saturday Course: Begins Saturday, January 28th. Meets every Saturday, from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.
Our certification course prepares TEFL candidates in authentic classroom situations. Candidates will work with an experienced instructor, study current ESL teaching methods, observe skilled ESL teachers, apply effective teaching techniques with our adult-ESL students in a real classroom setting, and participate in feedback workshops with their peers. FREE English Classes Every Saturday
Our talented TEFL teachers-in-training are teaching FREE English classes on Saturday afternoons. All adult students are welcome! If you are not currently a student at the Arizona Language Center, please call (480) 423-9600 first to reserve a place in the free class.
Low and High Beginner: Saturdays on November 12th, 19th, and December 3rd, 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
Intermediate and Advanced: Saturdays on November 12th, 19th, and December 3rd, 4:00 - 5:00 pm. |

Beginner English Classes
We are currently offering two group classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
Low-Beginner ESL: Monday & Wednesday, 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
High-Beginner ESL: Monday & Wednesday, 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

Intermediate & Advanced English Classes
We are currently offering several group classes with a variety of focuses in the morning, afternoon, and evening.
Intermediate Conversation: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Intermediate ESL: Tuesday and Thursday, from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm. Intermediate Pronunciation: Tuesday from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Intermediate Pronunciation & Accent Reduction: Saturdays 9:30 am - 12:30 pm; November 12th, 19th, and December 3rd. Upper-Intermediate ESL: Tuesday and Thursday, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Linguistics for Advanced Level English Speakers: Offered by appointment. |

Italian, Spanish, & Mandarin Courses
Enrollment is now open for all levels of Italian, Spanish, and Mandarin courses. Each course is taught by native speakers and are designed for adult students who would like to review their skills or who are new to the language. Contact us for availability and enrollment details.
