Closes $2 Million Seed Round

A big congratulations to Laronix, a graduate of the Element 46 Tech Accelerator and Westchester County Biosciences Accelerator, for successfully closing a $2 million seed round! 

Laronix are the creators of Bionic Voice, an innovative smart wearable electronic voice prosthesis tailored for laryngectomy individuals, also known as larynx amputees or laryngectomees. The world's first technology of its kind, Bionic Voice fills the void and rejuvenates the absent "voice source" for laryngectomees.

Breakthrough Fit Co., Founded by Launch1000 Grad

Jake Allyne, to Host Breakthrough Ball on September 9

On Saturday, September 9, Hartsdale's Breakthrough Fit Co., founded by Launch1000 graduate Jake Allyne, will host its first ever Breakthrough Ball to celebrate the individuals within the communities they serve. Since launching two years ago, Breakthrough Fit Co. has created jobs, impacted the special needs community and partnered with other local organizations.

The Breakthrough Ball, which is open to the public, will feature food, music, giveaways and special guest emcee, Richard Giocovas from Fox 5 News. Tickets are available on a donation basis.

TechCrunch's Startup Battlefield 200

ClearOPS, Inc., which offers CRM and AI tools to vCISOs so they can proactively manage their client's cybersecurity problems, has been named to TechCrunch's Startup Battlefield 200, the world's preeminent startup competition. Startup Battlefield 200 showcases the top 200 startups from around the globe, across multiple industries, at

TechCrunch Disrupt 2023.

Launcher Named Board Member of

Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce

Congratulations to Marion Henson, founder and owner of Bloom Healthy and Launch1000 graduate, who has been named a board member of the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce. Bloom Healthy launched as a grocery pop-up in July 2021 with the goal of providing affordable, humane access to fresh fruits, vegetables, mushrooms and herbs to communities with limited access.

The Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce provides consultative services to businesses, residents and tourists. Located in the heart of historic Downtown Peekskill, the Chamber office also serves as a Regional Tourism information Center for the thousands of visitors who come to the Hudson Valley Gateway Region each year. The majority of Chamber members are located in Buchanan, Croton on Hudson, Cortlandt Manor, Peekskill, and Putnam Valley.

HAVYN HATCH Event!

HAYVN HATCH is a pitch night for female founders, held two times a year at HAYVN, a women-centric coworking & event space in Darien, CT. They are currently accepting applications from female founders interested in pitching at their upcoming event on October 23.

Pitches will consist of a 3 minute presentation by the founder, followed by 4 minutes for Judge / Audience questions. Total time is 7 minutes. Applicants MUST have a deck to submit with their application.
