As a result of the restructuring of the U.S. Census Bureau's 12 Regional Offices, a new Data Dissemination Specialist position was created. West Virginia is served by Tim Sarko who is responsible for program planning, coordination and implementation of data dissemination and outreach and media activities for the U.S. Census Bureau.  He provides information, assistance, consulting services, and specialized training about census products and services and provides outreach to key stakeholders and data users, with emphasis on creating and delivering presentations and conducting workshops to explain the availability and usability of Census data.  There is no fee for any of his services.
People doing research or starting up a small business will benefit from using census data.  People can email their query and Mr. Sarko will research and respond.
