1. What is it like to return to StC as a teacher and coach?
It's interesting because I'm building relationships with people who I used to know as my teachers. Now they're my colleagues. I think it's helped me as a teacher because I bring an understanding from the student side. I remember what it's like to be a student here and it helps me connect with the guys I teach now.
It's really cool that I'm teaching boys that were in first or second grade when they would come to my games. Now I'm teaching them, and I've been able to see them grow up.
2. Where do you find your daily inspiration as an educator?
My fellow teachers. I remember the relationships I formed with them as a student and as a colleague now, and that's the biggest inspiration for me. I had Mr. Green three times! Mrs. Bandal and Dr. Hudson, they were big influences on me, as well.
3. What is one of your favorite StC memories as a student, teacher or coach?
One of my favorite all-time memories is talking with my friends and Dr. Hudson in her office. We formed really close relationships through those daily conversations, and I have really fond memories of those days.
4. Favorite dining hall dish?
Barbecue!
