These four Breweries go head to head in this friendly competition bringing in their best beers on tap to entice you to purchase their beers. A limited number pint glasses will be free with your first beer. The winner is announced at 8pm and will get a traveling trophy and bragging rights.

This event takes place at the Ramada Inn, 72nd and Grover. 

• A free shuttle will run from the Moon to the Ramada from 1-9pm.

• Du Bocq 1858 Saison-New to the store! From Du Bocq Brewery comes a wonderful saison named after the year Du Bocq was established. Du Bocq in my opinion has struck a win here with 1858. 1858 pours a hazy straw color and smells of fresh lemons, and maintains a strong, authentic "farmhouse aroma", it smells lovely! Flavor is very pleasant: spritzy, yet soft mouthfeel and a moderate citrus zest is well-married with light malt; the spice and Belgian yeast profile are significantly subdued, which in my opinion works very well for this beer. Finishes very clean. This is one of the better saisons I have had in the store!  6.4% ABV   $7.49 / 750ml
   

• Rogue Fresh Roast-New to the store! Spoiler alert: there is no coffee in this beer. Fresh Roast is an American Brown Ale that is brewed with freshly roasted malt and pours a dark brown color and smells of dark roasted malt,  some coffee notes are dancing around there as well.  Flavor is roast forward, good body, carbonation is medium, finishes very well. Overall a well-balanced and enjoyable Brown Ale!  5.7% ABV 

• Kona Brewing Big Wave Golden Ale-Welcome Kona! Big wave is an American Blonde Ale that pours a hazy golden color with a bit of head. Aroma is surprisingly hoppy for a golden ale, tropical and citrus hop notes are very present, most likely due to the dose of Galaxy & Citra hops. Flavor is much more pale-malt forward, a bit of malt texture in the body, not as hoppy as the aroma suggests. Hop bitterness seems more present with each sip. Very clean, and a very easy drinking beer!       4.4% ABV   $8.49 / 6-pack

• Kona Brewing Longboard Lager-Welcome Kona!  It's always good to have another US-brewed lager to add to our arsenal! Longboard Lager is an American Pale Lager that pours an off-yellow color and smells of sweet grains, bready/biscuity malt, and low hops. Flavor is light malt, with a bit of spicy hop notes. Finishes crisp and clean. Not bad at all!  4.6%  ABV  $8.49 / 6-pack
