Seedlings This Spring!

Plant one or two extra plants this Spring so you will have extra vegetables in August to donate to our "God's work. Our hands." event. The Outreach Team needs your extra produce on August 25!

We're organizing a FREE Farmers Market in the St. Luke parking lot on August 25. The St. Luke Community Garden weekly harvest and member donations will fill the tables. We will wear our yellow "God's work. Our hands." T-shirts. We will ask shoppers for a donation to ELCA World Hunger, to honor the 50th year anniversary of this vital ELCA mission. Need a shirt? Tag Sale June 7th & 8th!

Please bring us stuff to sell, come help us

organize it, then come to the Furniture

Bank Tag Sale on June 7th (6 to 8 pm) and

8th (8 am to 2 pm) to buy stuff to fill up the

space you gained by getting rid of stuff.

Please start cleaning out your basements

and garages and attics, and save the good

stuff for the sale.

It takes a whole week to set up and run the sale. It’s a huge undertaking, but also a fun and

rewarding way to reach out to the community. The more people who help out, the easier and more fun it becomes. Please consider joining us! We start setting up for the sale on June 2 right after church, and we’ll need lots of help!

For further information, ask Karen or Mike Wuesthoff, or call the furniture bank at 860 381-9224.

St. Luke Mask Guidelines

Based on current CDC guidelines, mask wearing is not required for indoor church events and worship services. However, St. Luke remains a "mask friendly" space, where we will, as a community, honor and respect anyone's decision to wear a mask to lower the transmission of Covid or other airborne viruses.

Please note that we will continue to monitor CDC guidelines for any new Covid variants that arise and/or increased incidence in the population. Mandatory mask wearing could be reinstated if CDC or local health guidelines recommend it.

Warm Regards,
St. Luke Planning (Executive) Committee
