ART in the Garden is just a few days away! We are busy putting the finishing touches on all the details that go into making this an evening to remember. Come celebrate our 50th Anniversary as a non-profit public arboretum! We are going to party like it's 1974 with live music, specialty cocktails, a full open bar, delectable offerings from David Ellis Events, Live & Silent Auctions, a wine raffle, and a very groovy VW photo booth bus!

Adult Programs

Sweets of Summer Floral Workshop

Thursday, June 20, 11 am - 1 pm

Invite the season into your home by creating joyful spring and summer bouquets using fragrant florals! These workshops are led by Daica Skrobala, owner and floral designer of Polycarp Flowers.

The Secret Tea Room - Make your reservations!

Enjoy an enchanting tea service with brewed-to-perfection teas, scrumptious scones, delectable tea sandwiches, and more.

Sounds of a Summer Night Concert Series

Wednesdays, 7 pm (all ages)

Grounds open at 6 pm for concertgoers to picnic and enjoy the gardens. Bring your own picnic blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy these enchanting musical evenings in the garden!

Artist's Talk with Susan Darwin - Just added!

Meet artist Susan Darwin as she shares her insights and experiences in crafting her remarkable Location Series: The New Jersey Paintings on view in the Wisner House Gallery through October 31. Registration is recommended, but not required. Light refreshments will be served. 

Forest Bathing Mini-Retreats

Sundays, July 14 and August 11, 9:30 am - 12 pm

Enjoy spiritually and emotionally enriching meditative walks in nature on the beautiful grounds of the Arboretum. Led by Certified Nature & Therapy Guide, Rich Collins.

Free Saturday Garden Tours

Saturdays through October 12, 10:30 am and 1:30 pm

Meet at the Visitors' Center for a tour of the season's highlights.

Children & Family Programs

Great American Backyard Campout - Members Only

Friday, June 21, 6 pm - Saturday, June 22, 8 am

This year marks Reeves-Reed Arboretum’s 50th anniversary! This special campout is our way of saying THANK YOU to the people who have helped us reach such an impressive milestone – our wonderful members! Pitch your tent, grab your sleeping bag, and settle in for a special evening on the grounds of the Arboretum!


You must be a Family-level member or above to register. Members can only sign up immediate family members and membership must be current on date of event to receive membership benefit. No refunds. Click here to register.

NEW! Art Exhibit

SUSAN DARWIN'S LOCATION SERIES: The New Jersey Paintings - June 4 through October 31

Through a collection of vibrant and evocative paintings, artist Susan Darwin invites you to traverse the varied landscapes of New Jersey, showcasing renowned monuments and landmarks, as well as shining a spotlight on significant plant and animal species, enriching the viewer’s exploration of the state's natural wonders. All art is for sale and 30% of each sale will be generously donated back to the Arboretum by the artist. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Sunday, 10 am - 4 pm unless closed for a private event. Please confirm hours before visiting.

Junior Camp Counselor

Teens 14+ years old are invited to volunteer at our summer nature camp. Junior counselors must be available for a minimum of 4 weeks. Click here and scroll down to Seasonal and Internships for more information.

Education Volunteers

If you have a background in education, or just enjoy nature and working with children, volunteer to assist our educators with our children's programs.

Corporate Volunteer Days!

Book your team's volunteer day in our gardens, trails, and woodlands. Projects run Wednesday - Friday, March - May, and September - October. Click here for details.

Join our staff outdoors to maintain and enhance the beauty of our grounds.

SUMMIT GARDEN TOUR

THANK YOU to everyone who came out in support of the Arboretum's 50th Anniversary at the SUMMIT GARDEN TOUR! Over 230 tickets were sold!


It was a beautiful day for the community to come together to enjoy and celebrate gardens including five private homes, two historic churches, and Reeves-Reed Arboretum.
