REIMAGINE CHATHAM PLANNING COMMITTEE DEVELOPED
Reimagine Chatham is a collaborative effort aimed at developing a growth and renewal plan for Chatham and the adjacent area based on a broad community consensus of local needs, desired improvements, and amenities.
The initial effort is funded by an anonymous grant, in response to an application by a partnership of local civic organizations, specifically the Chatham Rotary Foundation, Chatham First Inc., and The Rotary Club of Chatham. The grant is administered by a steering committee composed of the civic organizations plus representatives of the Town of Chatham Council and local businesses.
The plan will be developed by a consulting firm expert in the subject and will involve opportunities for public input to help define the community vision for the future. Once adopted, the plan will serve as the basis of future initiatives to develop and implement the specific aspects identified for improving the business environment and quality of life in town.

SOVAH HEALTH PRESENTS: MEET THE ROBOTS OPEN HOUSE
Sovah Health is very excited to announce the addition of the Da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical System to our surgical offerings at Sovah Health – Danville. The system, located tableside in our operating room, will allow the surgeon's hand movements to be scaled, filtered, and translated into precise movements of micro-instruments at the surgical site. The magnified, high-resolution, three-dimensional view the surgeon experiences enables him/her to perform precise and complex surgery through very small surgical incisions. The surgeon is 100% in control of the robotic system.
This technology is part of an ever-growing strategy to add robotics options to our portfolio of surgical opportunities. The Da Vinci Xi platform joins the Mako SmartRobotics Orthopedic System already in our surgical offerings.
The benefits of robotic surgery for our patients can be smaller incisions, less blood loss, less complications from infection, less pain, shorter hospital stays, and potentially quicker recovery times. We expect the Da Vinci Xi system to be installed and ready for surgery by early May.
Prior to our public announcement we invite you to join us for a special Meet the Robots event on Monday, April 29th from 6:00pm – 7:30pm in our Large Dining Room. Here you will be able to learn about both the Da Vinci and Mako platforms, “test drive” the robots, and speak with our surgeons and vendor representatives.
Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served.
Don’t miss this chance to learn about the advanced surgical treatments available right here at Sovah Health – Danville. Please RSVP to LeAnne Roller by Wednesday, April 24 at 434-579-2788 or LeAnne.Roller@lpnt.net.
