Great Lakes Week
The much-anticipated Great Lakes Week is this week. The week includes the Great Lakes Commission's Semiannual Meeting to be held March 6-8 in Washington, D.C. The meeting will feature dialogue on Great Lakes priorities by stakeholders and regional leaders. The event offers an opportunity for Great Lakes leaders to share solutions and discuss prominent issues. Also part of Great Lakes Week is the Annual Great Lakes Congressional Breakfast Reception, co-hosted by the Great Lakes Commission and the Northeast-Midwest Institute.

There will be a Full Committee Nomination Hearing for the Director of the U.S. Geological Survey, U.S. Department of the Interior at 10:00 AM in 366 Dirksen Senate Office Building. The hearing will be webcast live on the committee's website, and an archived video will be available shortly after the hearing concludes.

The House Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Highways and Transit will hold a hearing entitled, "
