SPOTLIGHT ON SERVICES

Pickle Ball Set

Everyone's talking about Pickleball! Not sure if you want to invest in your own Pickleball set? Borrow ours and try it out!

Not sure what Pickleball actually is? Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a Wiffle ball, over a net.

The Pickleball Set includes 4 Pickleball paddles, 6 balls, 1 net and a carrying case.

The set checks out for 3 weeks with no renewals and no holds. Borrowers must have a CWMars library card that is in good standing and the item must be returned to the Lunenburg Public Library circulation desk.

"100 Books Bucket List" Club

Tuesday, June 4th

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Join us for a monthly morning book club at the Library!

For June we're reading A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier by Ishmael Beah.

Our inspiration for this book club is a "100 Books Bucket List" scratch-off poster. We'll use the poster to choose our next title every month by drawing a number and scratching off that space to reveal our read. Titles range from epic classics, to short stories, and modern masterpieces both fiction and nonfiction. Challenge yourself with some books you may have never thought to read before, or revisit an old favorite to discuss with our group.

No Registration Required.

Open to adults of all ages, our new Community Chat & Color is a one-hour creative respite for all!

Participants can come color in printed pages, work on sketches of their own, or pursue any drawing project while socializing with other individuals with similar interests. No experience necessary. Some supplies will be provided, but you can bring your own if you'd like. No paints or messy mediums please!

No instruction will be provided at these sessions, and no requirements for projects are given or expected. Each meeting is a drop-in, no registration required.
