Welcome to the MFA Alumni Association's

New Director!

Welcome to our new MFA Alumni Association Director, Marjetta Geerling! Marjetta studied Writing for Children and Young Adults. After graduating in 2011, she served for many years as Assistant Director of the MFA Alumni Association before taking on the director role in May. She is the author of the Fur Haven Dog Park series (writing as Mara Wells) and a young adult novel. She is Associate Professor of English at Broward College in South Florida and has been an educator for more than twenty-five years.

The $2,000 Alumni Select Scholarship is for applicants you refer. Tell your friends to apply by August 1 for Fall.
