THANK YOU FALL VOLUNTEERS!!
A big shout out and thank you to all the great people who volunteered in the concession stand during the fall season. Concessions sales for the regular seasons of Volleyball and Football and fall spirit wear sales far outpaced expectations. Volleyball brought in $3200.  Football, with only 4 home games, amassed $23,000, exceeding last year's 5 home game total by $5,000.  And spirit wear has already achieved their budgeted sales figure!  An amazing season for all!  Again, "THANKS" to all the hardworking volunteers who put in their time and effort to make this possible.  Looking forward to a successful winter sports season!  GO EAGLES!!!
Welcome Winter Sports Families
 
We would like to welcome all of you who have registered your student-athlete for the 2017-2018 Winter sports season.  We are looking forward to an exciting winter at Jacobs.  

We are once again utilizing SignUp.com to organize our concession volunteers. We have begun to post the winter volunteer opportunities on the site, starting with this weekends Cheer Invite. Be on the lookout for Booster Manpower Updates. 


ALL JACOBS ATHLETIC FAMILIES ARE REQUIRED TO VOLUNTEER TWICE DURING EACH ATHLETIC SEASON
FALL SPORTS IHSA STATE SERIES UPDATES
GIRLS SWIMMING
Congratulations to Jacobs Freshman swimmer Jenny Tokarz for qualifying for the IHSA State Finals in the 500 Freestyle.  Jenny will compete this Friday, 11/18, in the prelims at New Trier High School in Winnetka.

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
Jacobs Junior Zach Albrecht finished in 6th place at the IHSA Waubonsie Sectional and qualified for the IHSA State Final.  On Saturday, 11/4, Zach raced a couple ticks over 15 minutes on the 3 mile State Final course and finished 44th in State. 

BOYS SOCCER
The HD Jacobs Boys Soccer team downed Streamwood 1-0 on penalty kicks to capture their 2nd straight IHSA Sectional Championship on Tuesday, 10/24.
