Hello Friends,

After another mild winter, we are about ready to declare that spring is here! As I sit here, my hibiscus that I never bothered to cover this winter, are still green.. Azaleas aand Tulip trees are blooming. Strange weather to be sure. We're all set for you to come out and check out our offerings this year!

Landscaping on a Budget

We've always tried to give you not only the best plants for our area, but to also have reasonable prices. This year will be no exception. With a variety of one and three gallon plants you don't have to take out a loan to upgrade or completely redo your landscape. While many people want that instant gratification of large plants at mature size, we see the value in planting smaller plants and planning for the size they will eventually reach. Some of my greatest pride comes from pointing out plants in my landscape that I planted relatively small, tended to, and watched them grow to what is now mature size. Besides that, smaller plants have much better survivability in your landscape, as they develop roots and structure where they will be located from now on.

Take a Tour
Every Saturday through March, we'll have a walk about tour of the nursery at 10 am and 2 pm. It will be a chance for me to point out some pants and your chance to ask any questions you might have. We are always adding new things, so if you want to take a look with me - just show up and we'll walk around and talk!

We strive to be your hometown nursery, the go to place with questions and problems. Come see us!

Sincerely,

John Tonkin
