Greetings!

Sometimes summers are the slow time of year, but at Florida Earth this summer in particular has been busy and filled with new opportunities to have an impact both from a Florida perspective and globally.  Read the report below for things both accomplished and coming up in the near future.
Florida Earth's New Partners
From time to time, we will highlight partners that help build our programs and partners.  Are three that will have a significant impact on what we do:
al Technologies, The Water Network hosts a variety of "cluster" sites that act as virtual bases of operation for teams that is a technology development firm in Zurich, Switzerland that has developed The Water
Network.  As a partner of Florida Earth, Tallyfox provides innovative platform solutions for engaging program participants.  Check out http://usnc.water.tallyfox.com and http://waterchoicesVI.water.tallyfox.com.

Over the last few months Florida Earth has developed Memorandums of Understanding with the American Water Resources Association and the Florida Chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers.  We are looking forward to working with both these organizations in developing new joint programs and supporting each other's existing programs.

Water Choices VI
Water Choices VI was held at Florida Atlantic University's Live Oak Pavilion on Monday, July 29, with a theme of "Solutions through Innovation."  Participants explored public-private partnerships, collaboration, new technologies and water solutions in urban settings.  Those interested in joining in the ongoing conversation should join our "cluster" site at http://waterchoicesvi.water.tallyfox.com.

Upcoming Events

All Florida Earth programs and projects get their start with "Wouldn't it be cool if..."  If you get a "wouldn't be cool if...moment" give us a call.   Get engaged at Florida Earth and find out how you can change the world.

Sincerely,

Stan Bronson, Executive Director
