Thank You!

On behalf of the Fairfax County NAACP, we want to express our deepest gratitude for the overwhelming outpouring of condolences and support following the loss of our beloved branch president, Michelle Leete.

Your heartfelt messages, kind gestures, and support during this challenging time have been a source of comfort and strength for all of us. Knowing that our community stands with us in our grief has been encouraging.

Michelle's passion for justice and tireless dedication to our cause touched the lives of so many, and your words of condolence are a beautiful testament to the impact she made. As we continue to mourn her loss, we take comfort in knowing her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her and in the work we do every day to uphold the principles she valued.

Please know that your support means the world to us and serves as a reminder of the importance of community and unity during difficult times. We are truly grateful for your continued support and encouragement as we move forward.

In the spirit of Michelle's legacy, let us press forward with renewed determination and hope, knowing that together, we can continue to make a positive difference in our community and beyond.

General Membership Meeting

Please join us on Tuesday, March 26th, for a special guest during our General Membership Meeting.

In recognition of having the most new members join the branch during the Membership challenge (October 10 - November 30), Helene Fisher, President, Fairfax Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated has been invited to be a guest speaker at our upcoming meeting. She will discuss Delta Sigma Theta and give a brief presentation on her chapter's efforts related to 'Education in the Commonwealth'.

A U.S. Army Signal Corps veteran, Ms. Fisher works as the Operating Unit President of a federal government healthcare company whose mission is to provide innovative solutions for social influence and shape healthy futures for under-served children, military service members, and at-risk populations impacted by infectious diseases. She holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Prairie View A&M University and a master's degree in Computer Information and Resources Management from Webster University, and recently completed Harvard Business School’s Finance for Senior Executives course.

We look forward to seeing everyone there!
