D153 Celebrates World Cultures
District 153 had a great time on March 14th learning about and celebrating world cultures at its 2019 Cultural Night. Many thanks to our guest performers, the Natya Dance Theatre that enthralled with their beautiful storytelling from India and the lively Muntu Dance Theatre (video below) that had the audience up on their feet dancing!

D153 Celebrates the Arts in our Schools
The cell phone cameras of proud parents were getting a good workout on March 21st at the 2019 All-District Art Show. Creations from about 270 Willow, Churchill, and James Hart students were on display. And thanks to the many kids who contributed to the event’s banner, creating on-the-spot art!
153 Day with the Chicago Wolves
Come out and join FOUNDATION 153 on Sunday, April 7th for a day of family fun at the Chicago Wolves hockey game. A portion of the ticket proceeds will go back to support the Foundation.

Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School invites all area students and young adults with disabilities and their families to its inaugural Transition Resource Fair, set for Tuesday, April 9, from 6-8 p.m. in the school’s South Building Gym.  

The fair is designed to provide information and resources on education, employment, independent living, recreation, transportation, guardianship, plus government benefits and programs for young adults with disabilities.
