7th-Grade Girls to Vie for Regional Championship
Congratulations to the James Hart 7th-grade girls volleyball team! They defeated Parker Jr. High in the IESA Regional Semi-Final and will take on Robbins Keller on Feb. 26 for the Regional Championship. Game starts at 4:30 PM at Parker Jr. High.

Flocabulary.com gave Churchill School its "shout out of the week" on Feb. 22nd. The company highlights one school before its weekly "This Week in Rap, Jr." recap of the news. Congratulations to Ms. Esposito's and Mrs. Speer's 5th-grade class for winning the contest and representing Churchill.
Many thanks to Homewood resident Marc Alan Fishman for being Churchill's "visiting artist" on Feb. 22nd. Mr. Fishman, who describes himself as a graphic designer by day and comic book creator by night, talked to 5th-grade art classes about how he makes a living with his art.
