CFSA has once
again gone over and beyond to develop another park to support the
ever-growing population in the CFISD area. The purchase of 50 acres
in Cypress is a 2-dimensional facility; baseball and football. This
is a phased development with the anticipated full development to
include 4 high school baseball fields, 7 other baseball fields
ranging from 6u to 13u and 3 football fields. The initial
development consists of the 4 high school fields and 2 football
fields.
Phase 1 baseball
fields will be ready this September 2010 to begin hosting
tournaments additionally two football fields will be completed and
ready for use in 2011.
The four high
school baseball fields are designed and built around collegiate
specifications, to offer the youth of our area quality fields
to support their development as they progress to the next level of
baseball.
The football
fields will support the continued growth and expansion of the Fall
and Spring 7-On-7 Football Programs within CFSA. Once operational
these fields will allow greater schedule flexibility for Fall
Football and will enable CFSA to host area and state Football
tournaments.
CFSA is excited
about beginning play with Fall Baseball tournaments at this new
facility. We are offering Fall Tournaments in this park as we
continue development of the facilities. This is sure to be the
premiere facility for teams throughout the region so don't miss out
on being some part of the first tournaments at Schiel Road. You
can find the details on the Fall Tournaments on the High School Baseball
Page.
CFSA as a
non-profit organization always welcomes donations and sponsorships
to help support the continued growth of Youth Sports within our
area. If you or someone you know is interested in being part of
the sponsorship programs within CFSA please contact Belk Null via
email at president@cy-fairsports.org.
We look forward to seeing you out at Schiel Road
soon!
