Greetings!

Arriving in the next day or two we are expecting to have an assortment of stamps from House Of Mouse, a few more Riley's, new Dazzles stickers and the Sew Easy piercing heads that we sold out of last week!  The store should be full then!
                    Northern Lighthouse    Goldfinches   Boat Corner
As if we didn't already have enough in our stamping aisle!  Last week we received some incredibly detailed, wood mounted, rubber stamps from Impression Obsession (along with some 6"x6" backgrounds of course!).

Blog Challenge!

You only have one week left!  We accidentally gave you an extra week to participate in our second Blog Challenge but the deadline is Monday June 13th at 5pm.  Please don't stress over our blog challenge because it is truly meant to be fun!  Simply look at the inspiration presented on our blog and see what gets your creative juices flowing - colours, patterns, layouts... Email a photo of your project or drop into the store and we'll take the photo for you.

Don't forget that every entry gets a ballot for a chance to win in our random draw next Tuesday so  Click HERE to link to our blog for details of our Blog Challenge!

Here's the answer to last week's little trivia question - we asked:   How many posts do you think there have been on the blog since we started it on January 27th?  The answer is ... 84!

Here's a Freebie Dingbat!

No, I'm not so rude as to call you a dingbat - the freebie is actually a dingbat ... a small graphic or ornament!

Click HERE to link to the DaFont website to download these vintage frames which are perfect for stamping a sentiment inside, or using for journaling on your scrapbook page or even as a frame around a photo.  And, you don't just get three frames!  Each letter, both upper and lower case, on your keyboard is a different graphic!

Step 1: click the link to the DaFont website.
Step 2: click the Download button
Step 3: choose to "open" the downloaded file.
Step 4: choose to "extract" the file. Select a folder to save to where you know you'll be able to easily find it again.
Step 5: open the folder where you have saved the font file. Also go through your control panel to open your main Font folder.
Step 6: drag and drop the new font file into your main Font folder to automatically install the vintage frames to all of your programs (such as Microsoft Word).

(Please Note: these are general instructions and may vary slightly depending on the configuration of your own personal computer.  If you have any difficulties please ask us for help and we'll see what more we can figure out together!)

A Flowery Tutorial

Upcoming Community Fundraiser

We always like to support local community fundraising events but this one strikes a personal chord for Lilian and I, as it does for the owners of Back Country Paintball... that's not to say that you'll see us actually actively participating!  More details are on the way but the basics are listed here so you can mark your calendar.
