Click2Enter, Inc. Announces C2E-I.V4 with 700 MHz Capability

C2E-I.V4
Sonoma, California - June 24, 2013

Click2Enter, Inc. is very pleased to announce the release of the next generation of the Click2Enter-I Emergency Gate, Door and General Access Control System.   The new system is designated C2E-I.V4.

The C2E-I.V4 is the result of over two years of design development and more than ten years of operational experience.   The new unit expands the existing capabilities of the system to meet the needs of virtually all public safety services in the United States and Canada.

The major improvements of the C2E-I.V4 are the addition of 700 MHz capability, the expansion of the frequency capacity from 50 channels to 100 channels, better cold weather performance, all packaged in a smaller enclosure.

The fundamental operation and programming of the C2E-I.V4 remains unchanged.   Using free software provided by Click2Enter, Inc., installers and system managers can easily program using their existing computer.

Expect to find the new C2E-I.V4 at your favorite distributors in early July.  Log on to the Click2Enter, Inc. website (www.click2enter.net) to find an installer in your area, as well as to access the latest information on the operation and programming of the product.

"We are very excited about the new C2E-I.V4," says Pete Sutsos, President/CEO and inventor of the Click2Enter.  "Not having 700 MHz capability really shut us out of several major markets.   The ability of the new product to operate on those increasingly popular public safety frequencies brings the benefits of the system to all markets."

"As a law enforcement officer,  the last thing I wanted to do when responding to a call was to attract attention to myself by flashing my lights or yelping my siren," said Sutsos, a retired Sonoma County Deputy Sheriff.  These serious flaws inherent in other systems available in the market led to the invention of the Click2Enter-I system in 1998.

"We wanted to design a product that would allow public safety officials to open gates and doors for both patrol and emergency response situations in a safe, silent, and secure way," explained Sutsos.  "I can tell you from experience and from talking with many law enforcement, fire, and EMS assets across the country, maintaining access in this age of gates, fences, and increased security systems is a major problem for first responders."

A good example of the use of the Click2Enter, Inc. system is on school building doors.  Using electromechanical locks, public safety officials can respond to emergency situations and gain access to a school building using their standard-issue communication radios.  Office access is made possible with no need for school staff to open doors or unlock access points.

The Click2Enter, Inc. system operates using the un-modified transceiver radios that all public safety agencies already own and maintain.  By programming the system to "listen" for the frequencies chosen by the specific locality, public safety assets can open gates and doors with merely a click of their radio.

The result is gate and door access that is fast, safe, and silent.   This leads to better public safety response and access, which leads to safer communities.
