Greetings!

The 'Lights On' event across Twickenham Town last Friday (25/11/11) went down amazingly! Many thanks to all the Local Businesses and Community Groups that took part - I'm sure everyone appreciated and felt the spirit we share with our daily patrons. Just to illustrate how well the night went down, here are a few images:

From the Stage

From St Mary's Church

One should note that there's a difference of at least 2-3 hours between the two images, with the first being taken at around 17:45pm. For further images taken before; during and after, they will be put up on the TTBA website and shared between the Church Street Association; TTBA and Destination Richmond Facebook Pages.

On the night, we had Punch and Judy in the Square; live music and Carol Singing from Kneller Hall's Royal Military School of Music; Mince Pies and Mulled Wine served by various businesses and festive tasters given out by Laverstoke Park Farm Butchers. There was even mention of the whole affair on Page 16 of the Richmond and Twickenham Times!

But wait, surely with such a heavy undertaking the busy bees involved would want nothing more than to put their feet up and relax? Oh no, we've organised yet another fine day for you all and I (the newsletter editor) feel that the following remix of Wham!'s classic says it best:

Last Christmas,
You tore out your hair,
In search of the very best gift,
For that person so dear,
This Year,
To save you from tears,
We're giving you something special...

That's right! What we have in store is a Christmas Shopping Day full of special offers to treat yourself; the kids and the family! Oh and that 'Person so dear' who drove you to tears last year...

Come on down to Church Street, Twickenham on 10th December 2011 for a full day of specials including the following: All of these offers have been advertised on Page 30 of the RTT.

Also of note, are more events in the area:

Crusader's Hot Offer!
(in more ways than one)

Yeah, I couldn't think of anything wittier! I confess! Anyway, if all that's too much too handle and all you really want to do is spirit away (by yourself; with the family or that someone dear...) then why not look into some our Red Sea Offers at Crusader Travel? Prices are dropping like stones because of the time of year, and you're sure to get a bargain - here's one just to illustrate our point: Stay 7 Nights at the Sol Y Mar Sea Star 4*, Taba All Inclusive departing on 10/12/11 from Gatwick from only just £288pp!

For further information on any of our offers or to book, please e-mail us; use our Enquiry Form or drop us a jolly line on 0208-744 0474 - we promise not to keep you on hold with a looping Christmas Jingle!

We look forward to seeing you (and hearing from you!)

Sincerely,

- The Crusader Travel Team and The Church Street Association
