Happy spring everyone!

Came in like a lion, hopefully out like a lamb. For those of you who, like me, enjoy the Spring snow, hope you are out there having a some fun! It's a short window and it looks like we are going to enjoy some warmer temps this week. Spring for me, is a wonderful time to rejuvenate and start fresh. The days are getting longer and for me that is a huge reset. If you are looking for a helpful reset for your body, a fresh approach to some nagging health issues, or just trying to optimize your health, you might consider a Spring cleanse. 


In previous classes, this is the primary detox questionnaire that I start and end every cleanse class with. It's as objective as I can get without blood work. Elizabeth went from 92 to 23. I keep doing them because they are one of my own personal best health practices. The more I learn about the gut and the microbiome, the more committed I become. 

“All disease begins in the gut” is a quote attributed to Hippocrates. Turns out he was right! Everything from gut issues like heartburn, bloating, constipation, and diarrhea to systemic issues such as inflammation, joint pain, and heart disease to psychological issues such as depression and anxiety, can all be linked to the gut. With this cleanse you will learn the connection between our microbiome, our health, our diets, and a western lifestyle while participating in this 3-week cleanse, based on the work of Dr. Alejandro Junger and his book Clean


This cleanse utilizes a four-pronged approach to maximize gut health: an elimination diet, 2 liquid meals per day, intermittent fasting, and a supplement protocol. This is a very well-designed program that gives our bodies the opportunity to renew and replenish. Not only will you participate in a cleanse but learn the simple things you can do to leverage a healthier gut leading to a healthier you.  

The cost of the class is $140. The supplement protocol and meal replacement shakes are an additional $220. The format will be four, one-hour classes via Zoom from 6-7 PM on Monday evenings. The class runs from Monday, April 29th through Monday, May 20th.
