October 2017
  Greetings!
Reunited And It Feels So Good!
Do you know that Bellwether works closely with Newaygo County Animal Control and the Fremont Police Department to reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners? In 2017 alone, over twenty pets have been reunited through this collaborative effort and with the help of concerned citizens on social media. We are committed to help make a difference with these ongoing efforts. Owners are encouraged to microchip their pets to make reunions successful. We offer Microchip clinics on the second Saturday of each month. Microchips are $30 and can be placed painlessly just under your dog or cat’s skin. Your name and contact information is permanently recorded in the chip to reunite owners and pets quickly. Upcoming microchip clinics are November 11th and December 9th from 11-3 at the Shelter.
Out 'N About...
We love to support our community while taking advantage of unique opportunities to socialize and train our dogs in different environments. This month our dogs, staff, and volunteers have been active in the Fall Harvest Parade in Fremont and The Trailtown Dog Walk in White Cloud.
