Tell Your BG History Event

September 23rd

The Historic Preservation Commission is hosting its first Tell Your BG History event at Juniper Brewing Company, 145 South Main Street, at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, September 23.

The commission would like to hear from citizens about their experiences living, working, and even growing up in Bowling Green.

Topics to focus on include:

  • Where did you live?
  • Where did you go to school?
  • Where did you shop?
  • Where did you work?
  • What did you do for fun?
  • What unforgettable people or events do you remember?
  • Who or what do you miss?

The Historic Preservation Commission believes the preservation of buildings, homes, and neighborhoods makes the most sense when the public is aware of the historical context of those places, which includes the lives and stories of the people who lived in and around them.

Please consider attending to share your story. All are welcome to attend to listen. The commission hopes to hold this event quarterly.
