Vol 12. No.5 May 2021
Things are Happening Again ....................... From the Editor
Spring is trying to spring here in the mountains of Montana. It hasn't quite sprung. We have had a few days without any white stuff falling from the sky. The first wildflowers are blooming.

It is encouraging to see the plans that are being made to keep us all active with handbells as we meet virtually throughout this pandemic and in person next year. I believe there is light at the end of the tunnel and it is NOT an oncoming train. So cheer up! And let's get ringing.

If you missed the Siskiyou Summit Virtual Conference, you can still watch the recording on YouTube through May 31. Click here to watch.

Coppers Classic, Siskiyou Summit, and Big Sky Handbell Festival have all been rescheduled for 2022. Get your calendars out and start saving dates. I may try to attend every one in 2022.
I am changing the communications efforts to coordinate more (rather than duplicate more) between the newsletter and the website. The website will typically be the site with all the scoop. The newsletter will give you a heads' up about what scoop is out there.

So please take the time to check out the area 10 website. In fact, you should bookmark it.
https://area10.handbellmusicians.org. All the best scoop about upcoming events is under the Events Menu. And this is the year of the area 10 conference. There's a separate page (under Events, duh!) just for the conference information.

Please feel free to share this newsletter and the website with your fellow ringing friends. Anyone who wants to regularly receive communications (typically 1-2 per month) can sign up below.

Take care. Stay safe. Mask up. So we can all ring together again soon.

Joann

P.S. - We still need an Idaho state chair. Please consider volunteering.
