Apply for the Equity in Arts Learning Grant Program
The Bonfils-Stanton Foundation, Denver Arts & Venues, the Gates Family Foundation, Colorado Creative Industries, and The Denver Foundation have partnered with Think 360 Arts to realize a nearly half-million dollar fund. This initiative aims to dismantle the systemic barriers that have long prevented marginalized youth from experiencing the life-altering benefits of arts learning. Grants of $10,000-$25,000 are available to support projects that bring professional artists and culture bearers into educational settings to lead programming with youth ages 4-21.
Interested applicants should submit letters of intent by December 1, 2023. This month, you can join drop-in virtual office hours to get your questions answered about the application process ahead of the deadline. Learn more here.
Take the Art of Access Stakeholder Survey
Art of Access Denver is a volunteer-based group of individuals and organizations who work to advance and connect accessible and inclusive practices across Denver’s cultural organizations. Currently the organizing committee consists of staff from Access Gallery, Colorado Creative Industries, Denver Art Museum, Lone Tree Arts Center, Molly Brown House Museum, RedLine Contemporary Art Center, and a local professor of American Sign Language. Art of Access is working to restart programming and engage with a statewide network of individuals and organizations interested in increasing accessibility in Colorado.
Please help us better understand the accessibility landscape and needs across Colorado by filling out this stakeholder survey. It should take about 10 minutes to complete. Those who finish the survey will be entered into a raffle for a free registration to the 2024 Colorado Creative Industries Summit in Pueblo, a pair of tickets to the Molly Brown House Museum, tickets to select performances at the Lone Tree Arts Center, a gift certificate to Access Gallery, and a membership of your choice at one of the participating organizations. Please note that while some funders are a part of Art of Access, this is not tied to any funding and will not affect current or future funding.
