Message from the President

Greetings members, supporters and friends,

Happy New Year!

We will kickoff 2020 with a general membership meeting this Saturday, January 11 from 10 am to Noon at Kings Park Library. Join us as we hear from the presidential campaigns of Senators Warren and Sanders, and Mayor Pete.

On Tuesday, January 28 the Northern Virginia NAACP branches will host our very first lobby day. Great planning is underway to ensure a successful meeting with our legislators about NAACP legislative priorities that impact Northern Virginia.

In February we kickoff our Advocacy Agenda for 2020 and celebrate Black History Month. In March-May, we will celebrate Women's History Month and host forums on equity in education, affordable housing and environmental justice.

Join the NAACP for one or all of these activities and help us continue to advocate on behalf of all Fairfax County citizens.
