Foundations Recovery Network's (FRN) dual diagnosis approach to treatment has been proven as a key to successful recovery. FOUNDATIONS RECOVERY NETWORK MODEL OF TREATMENT
The FRN model of treatment has been tested and proven through 11 federally funded research studies. This model demonstrated twice the success rate for continuing sobriety one year post-treatment compared to the national average of traditional programs. Our model of treatment includes:
- Motivation interviewing: a technique designed to reduce resistance to change, resolve ambivalence and keep our clients engaged throughout treatment
- Integrated treatment program: a technique treating a dual diagnosis of chemical dependency and emotional or psychiatric illness simultaneously, providing a higher recovery rate
No program has been proven more compassionate, flexible or effective.

Patients seeking outpatient treatment at Foundations Atlanta come for many different reasons.
- Out of residential stay: Some patients come fresh out of a stay in a residential treatment facility. These patients are looking to continue their recovery work with less structured guidance in a "real life" setting.
- Entry-level: These patients are seeking treatment for their addictions before they consumer their life. By admitting to Foundations outpatient program, patients are able to seeking entry-level treatment while still living their day-to-day lives.
- Chronic pain: Some Foundations Atlanta patients are suffering from chronic pain and addiction. These patients can participate in the Relief and Recovery program, a compassionate and effective program designed to address their unique treatment needs.
