JCMH Summer Webinar Series
Competency restoration is one of the most frequent subjects of questions and requests received at JCMH, and so we are excited to announce a summer webinar series on several related topics, led by expert practitioners and designed to be helpful for a broad audience. This series will launch on June 20, with “What You Need to Know about Competency Restoration” by Lee Pierson, Kendall McKimmey, Vickie Rice, and Jason Foster. Next will be “Jail-Based Competency Restoration and Court-Ordered Medication” by Jonathan Lemuel on July 25, and the series will conclude with “Not Competent, Not Restorable, Now What?” by Nelda Cacciotti on August 15.
These presentations will start at Noon CDT and are approved for 1 hour each of CLE credit. Registration, full speaker bios, and additional information are available at https://texasjcmh.gov/events/summer-webinar-series/. Register today!
