Middle East Attacks On Christians Cause For Concern

10/29/2015 Middle East (Iraq)

The continued crisis in the Middle East has left Christians without protection from the constant threats from Islamic extremists who are set on driving them out of their homelands and taking them as their own. "Today's situation in the Middle East Region is taking a critical shape, without any exaggeration. Radical extremists are conducting mass executions, destroying Christian churches, forcing people out of their homes and destroying holy sites with millennia-long history," Konstantin Dolgov was quoted as saying by RIA Novosti. Global leaders, from the United States, Europe, Russia and elsewhere are searching for answers for what to do to preserve these communities that are at risk of disappearing for good.

  • Pray that Christians displaced in the Middle East will be able to find refuge during these dark times
  • Pray for Godly wisdom to be with our leaders around the world so that they will know how to bring peace and restoration in the Middle East
  • Pray that local churches and organizations will be able to provide for displaced people in their countries
