UCSF Staff Resource Days Returns in June

UCSF Staff Resource Days return June 3 - 7, 2024. Join in virtual events throughout the week and an in-person resource fair on Thursday, June 6 at Mission Bay campus. Come meet and connect with representatives from organizations, committees, and resources for staff in a social, accessible outdoor environment.

UCSF Blanket Ceremony

Thursday, May 9, 6 PM - 7 PM


The UCSF Native American Health Alliance & UCSF Association of Native American Medical Students will host a graduation blanket ceremony for Indigenous American Indian students graduating from UCSF professional schools in 2024 at the UCSF Faculty-Alumni House. All are welcome.

The annual Chancellor Awards for Diversity recognize the outstanding efforts of individuals at UCSF who demonstrate a strong commitment to the elimination of barriers to full inclusion for all people. Faculty, staff, and students are awarded in four areas: Advancement of Women; Disability Service; Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership; and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex Leadership

The 16th Annual UCSF Health Equity and Anti-Racism Research (HEAR) Symposium is accepting abstract submissions through June 7. HEAR showcases showcases research and action to advance health equity and anti-racism and will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Mission Bay Campus.

ARCH Co-Director's Research on Older Adults Featured in NIMHD Update


Research examining communication and older adults by Asian American Research Center (ARCH) Co-Director Jane Jih, MD, MPH, MAS, was featured in the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities Research Spotlight. The study focused on using photo sharing to convey dietary practices by adults over 60 with multiple chronic conditions to clinicians.
