The OJC community treasures our Yom HaShoah tradition of Keepers of the Flame. For every hour of a complete 24 hours, at least one congregant sits silently in our sanctuary, guarding six flames. One person will be responsible for each hour, but all of us can visit throughout the day.

On Sunday, April 7 at 12 PM, please join the Hostages and Missing Families Forum at Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza (E 47th St & 2nd Ave) for a demonstration marking 6 months since hostages were taken by Hamas on October 7th. We will be joined by prominent speakers from Israel, families of the hostages and released hostages themselves. Please join us and our partners as we continue to call to #BringThemHomeNow.
