Congratulations are in order this week!
To the hundreds of high school seniors representing our public and private schools, congratulations on your achievement. Our community – our world – is looking forward to watching you accomplish great things.
To the graduates of our local colleges and universities, we are ready! With hundreds of existing and newly located employers in Henry County, your future looks bright right here.
Finally, to the candidates in this week’s primary elections, congratulations to those who won. To those who ran and came up short, thank you for running. You are still an indisputable part of our democracy and we thank you for putting yourself and your ideas out there for consideration.
Looking back at this week, Henry County is poised for great things to come. I for one look forward to the journey.

Henry County Chamber of Commerce welcomes Leonard Robinson
The Henry County Chamber of Commerce welcomes Leonard Robinson to the organization as the new Director of Membership. Leonard joins the Chamber with over thirty years of experience in sales, management, and training. He is a veteran having served with the United States Marine Corp.
Originally from Jackson, MS., Leonard spent most of his professional adult life in San Diego, CA. He moved to Henry County from Memphis, TN, in June 2021, where he became active with the Chamber serving as an Ambassador in 2021 – 23.
“We are elated to have Leonard join our team as the new Director of Membership, a critical role for the Chamber,” said Joseph Henning, chamber President and CEO. “We invite you to join us in welcoming Leonard as he helps to bring many new and exciting opportunities for our members to grow and expand in 2024.

TNT Sports to Kick Off NASCAR Return with Atlanta's Night Race in June 2025 | |
TNT Sports will launch its coverage of the NASCAR Cup Series in 2025 with a Saturday night showdown as the opening race of the In-Season Tournament at the network’s home track, Atlanta Motor Speedway.
For the 2025 season, Atlanta Motor Speedway’s second NASCAR event shifts to the summer with the return of Atlanta’s Night Race: the Quaker State 400 Available at Walmart on Saturday night, June 28, 2025.
Earlier this week, NASCAR announced it will hold a first-of-its-kind In-Season Tournament for the Cup Series in 2025. The bracket-style head-to-head event will be broadcasted on TNT Sports’ full five-race schedule with the first race of the In-Season Tournament hosted under the lights at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
