Providing Food & Fellowship

This summer, Community Christian Church in Manchester partnered with UrbanReach STL to address food insecurity in the Cochran public housing sector of downtown St. Louis. The partnership resulted in Community providing weekly lunches and monthly suppers to those in need, underscoring a commitment to serving the local area. In addition to the weekly lunches, Community CC also organized monthly suppers. These events were designed to foster community and connection, allowing attendees, both children and adults, to share a meal in a welcoming and supportive environment. The suppers became a significant aspect of the partnership, bringing together people from diverse backgrounds to share in fellowship and conversation. Read more>

Rev. Breona Hawkins

On Saturday, September 7 clergy, seminary classmates, family, life-long friends, and representatives from several congregations gathered at Webster Groves Christian Church in St. Louis at a Service of Ordination for Rev. Breona Hawkins. A lovely reception followed the service. Congratulations, Breona!

Special Baptisms

First Christian Church in El Dorado Springs celebrated four outdoor baptisms on August 31. The date was significant for one twelve-year-old being baptized, as her father and uncle had both been baptized on that same date seven years prior. The other three participants were rededicating themselves. Blessings to all of these faithful disciples!
