Fredericksburg, Virginia, May 30, 2024 - Central Rappahannock Regional Library's 39th Annual Music on the Steps series will be presented on the front steps of Fredericksburg Branch, 1201 Caroline Street, Fredericksburg, 22401.
Concerts will be held Mondays starting at 6:30 pm throughout the summer. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets. In the event of inclement weather, performances will be moved to the library theater.

June 3: Elby Brass - Virginia's best street brass band! Rocking that heavy horn funk from the heart of Downtown Fredericksburg since 2009.

June 10: Hip-Hop Night with David Lamont, Mj, & Meaux - Hip-hop & RnB artist David Lamont tells of his mental journey through poetry and hand-crafted instruments. Mj makes music that is gritty but lyrically clean and honest, and Meaux's main genre is Hip-hop with some indie and pop.

June 17: Made in the USA - Popular hits from classic rock, modern country, soul, and dance. Something for everybody!

June 24: Laurie Rose Griffith and Peter Mealy - Tight harmonies, intricate guitar work and the broad range of styles of Laurie and Peter will be augmented by violinist Ranjit Singh and bassist Keith McConnell.

July 1: The Don Brown Project - Soul, Funk, and feel-good music at its finest.

July 8: Hālau O 'Aulani - Arlington-based Hawaiian cultural school that shares the cultures of Hawai‘i through music and hula.

July 15: Spanglish - Influenced by years of performing and singing with ensembles of Salsa, Latin Jazz, Gospel, Pop, Blues, American Jazz, Folkloric, Bomba, and Funk, Spanglish brings you an eclectic mix.

July 22: The Wellbillies - Classic country sounds from the 1950s-'70s; with music that came from Nashville, Austin, and Bakersfield.

July 29: Tampa Taiko - Sensei Ron Collins performs traditional Japanese taiko on drums made from recycled wine barrels.

August 5: DJ Strevvss The Live Percussionist - Covers & originals across multiple genres on Doumbeks & Djembes.

August 12: Limón & Latin Feeling Band - Danceable Afrocuban Latin Jazz fusions. Original compositions and arrangements by Cuban percussionist Alberto Limonta Perez.

August 19: Semilla Cultural - Fredericksburg organization dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of traditional Puerto Rican bomba.

August 26: Trash Rocket - Pop melodies, punk energy, and personal lyrics of love and loss.
